Three popular blogs of today JohnChow.com, JohnCow.com, and ShoeMoney.com had success at same time. How?

I wouldn't put JohnCow in the same category with John Chow and Shoemoney. JohnCow is just a cheap ripoff of John Chow IMHO.

The richest is the most quiet. Don't be fooled. People treat a 1000x repeated lie as a truth.

John Cow is hilarious. Smart move by the owners. They got the domain for $80 and its totally a typo for JohnChow.com.
I wish I had shoemooney.com - I'd do a parody site.

The account of JohnCow.com in Facebook was banned. That was funny enough for me.

Within an hour of posting that blog entry, I got a comment from Jeremy (Known as ShoeMoney) saying Comete.com data is not real.
Later there was a comment from Jay at Compete.com defending his site, although he did not claim there data is 100% accurate.

JohnCow IMHO has surpassed it's immitatee. I find it much more entertaining and useful than chow as it's mainly sponsored reviews and the like.

John Cow has made a Moo (comment) on that article I wrote. Apparently he is little angry.

Read that article, it's funny...heh..
I don't respect Johncow at all. Anyone can leach onto another person's success and he'll never go far after the buzz dies which it has. Original is still best.

uhh compete sucks and isnt good historical data as alexa. Alexa is far better but not also very accurate (bar installation) - but has better history data and shoemoney was successful before chow or cow

I love the John Cow blog. Good humor, and pretty decent content for the most part.

I just think that it's hilarious that someone would have a shoemoney.com domain yet not have a single shoe photo or shoe up for sale on that site. Very bold move, but apparently, it creates a temporary buzz.

I don't know what you mean by the second statement in this context, but first sentence is quite insightful.

I simply say that there are companies which earn much more than the above-mentioned individuals and they're not saying "oh people, look at our income, we are Gods!". about.com, answers.com, thefreedictionary.com, etc. All of those are earning really BIG dollars and some John Chow or Jeremy Schoemaker are no-ones in comparison to really successful businesses.

Most known companies are owned by larger, unknown companies. This is sort of like Procter & Gamble or Conagra Foods. They manade several products, not just one brand. Plus, if anything should happen that lowers the reputation of their brands, they can obtain another brand. And since they were unknown in the first place, people won't associate them with those gone-bad brands that caused e. Coli, had products with lead and whatever else some manufacturers go though.

Yes, you are right, there are people who are making much more money then them but that doesn't make them liars. Show off yes, but liar no.
