I put up a comprehensive list on one of our websites and got all kinds of flack from the owner of the ihelpyou forum and a bunch of anti spam zealots. It was crazy how negative and off the wall this group became along with personal attacks. They bashed me on forums and blogs. It was all rather amazing. Especially since the post stated that the list was not created as a spam tool, but as a small business resource.

I glad to see reasonable people use this forum.

I put a similar list on my blog and got attacked by a small bunch of anti spam fanatics. It was a wild and rather crazy experience.

Just type in google search box "list of dofollow forums" and you'll see lots of list to choose from. Try to download search status adds on for you to know whether it's a dofollow or not.

You may be careful what you wish for, advertising your forum as such to a general audience will get you few realtors and tons of people posting useless oneliners.
