Muvar, anyone?

Hi everyone

My name is Malc and I have had websites from a few years, and have spent much of 2007 applying what I learned about traffic building with some success.

This year I am focusing on conversion rates, so I bought Muvar and Glyphius from James Brausch. Muvar looks great and if you use it as it is meant - sales page to thank you page - it's easy to use. However, my 'desired result' is to add a product to the shopping cart, so does not involve a thank you page. This makes things a little harder.

To enable Muvar to do it's calculations I need to send the number of pence the product costs via php script to the Muvar programme. I know the code is:

require("misc.php");
registerSale("2700");

...but I do not know where to send the info nor how to do it from an html page.

I know I could get a 'rentacoder' to sort this out... but thought I would ask if anyone here has used Muvar and fiddled with it in this sort of way.

(Great programme, Muvar, great idea - but absentee customer service and minimalist help. If you're out there James Brausch, prove me wrong and direct me to some better help. You talk about your ethics which appear to be strong; ethically I believe these products deserve better support. Your support desk allows a message of about 60 characters only, and I need to put in a receipt number which the merchant did not give me. You talk about only working 4 hours a week - well, bully for you; what about spending an extra hour a week for a few weeks and get some better help installed? Or using the 'lots of money' you are earning to put someone who cares on a help desk? End of rant. )

Appreciate any input from forum members.

Cheers

Malc
