What happen to Yahoo-Microsoft deal?
Hi,

As for earlier few days it was in news that microsoft is going to buy yahoo so can anyone tell me about what happen to yahoo microsoft deal.?

And one thing just a couple of days earlier in evening while visiting on yahoo had seen written "powered y microsoft" at yahoo site and I assumed that the deal is finalised but next day nothing like that. Anyone other have seen the same?

No the deal is still not closed.

Microsoft Bids $44.6 Billion for Yahoo
Check the Newyork Times article on this. They are doing brief followup on the matter as you can understand it is one of the major acquisition in near past and future if it happens.

I'll bet they considered the legal battle that would ensue if the did decide to merge. Google would have pursued some anti-trust lawsuit. That, and Yahoo 'knows' they are worth more than a measly $44 Billion.
