Anyone paid a company to do their directory submissions?

I'm new to this forum and was wondering if anyone's ever outsourced their directory registrations to another company. And if so, what were your experiences? Did they deliver as promised? How much did you pay? How many directories did they submit your site to?

I was doing some research on companies that offer this service. A few examples I found are:

seocompany.ca - $450 for 1000 directories
info.vilesilencer.com - $450 for 500 directories

I realize that there's endless directories out there and this forum is a good source for them. The problem is that I have a lot of sites that I need submitted and frankly I don't have the time to do them myself. Alot of these sites are blog sites and I've used RSS Submit before, although the list of directories available through them is quite limited and the automation of the submissions is hit and miss (doesn't seem like they update their software).

So ultimately, I am willing to pay someone (must be a company) to register my sites (free and paid directories), however I want to know of reputable companies that you've had experience with or dealt with.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I agree this is is way too much to spend on directory submission, you'd be better off hiring people from DP services forum, you'll get it done in $30 - $40. Though the best thing to do will be to do your submissions on your own.

That is why I own my own submission service. My service submits to 822,000 websites, including the top search engines, link directories, online malls and classifieds.

What`s neat is all my campaigns are set on automatic. It submits to the search engines each month and to the FAA`s, Directories, online malls and classifieds daily.

My website also spiders the web looking for new sites and adds them in automatically. Welcome to the NEW AGE!

How does your site gets around the problem of different site's having different fields to be filled and labeled differently and almost all of them have some kind of captcha to prevent automated submission?

dman_2007

On the last page of submissions you can set when your site will be sent automatic or manual.

As to the fields to be filled in?

I don't understand why you would not want to fill them in. On all my 48 sites I change and try different subject lines, Target different groups.

Hope this helps,

David

For SEO benefits - you don't really need to submit to all directories out there. I posted this in another thread and you may find this useful as well:

Quality is still the name of the game. Some pointers in selecting the directories to submit to:

High PR - indication that Google sees some value in the directory.
Well maintained - listed sites are in the proper category
High Traffic - getting traffic could be minimal form directories, but majority are targeted
Kewords ranking high in SERP - Well optimized, shows that the directory is well-marketed and SEO'ed.

Which to avoid:
Link farms that pose as directories
Directories that require reciprocal links
Crappy ones with crappy sites listed

Hope that helps
