What about buying traffic?
I saw an article by http://www.CadenzaWeb.com/ in the articles section. Does anyone know if buying traffic is good? What companies to use, besides google?
Thanks in advance for your answers.

Be sure you have a good strategie to convert the traffic into leads. This way you can follow up on your leads and make more sales. Also you should be sure that you get real targeted visitors to your website. There are lots of companies out there that will sell you poor traffic and you will get no sales.
Don't buy any pop ups, pop unders..., don't buy any automated traffic exchanges visitors.
You should go for traffic from search engines, buy targeted newsletter ads or buy traffic from click exchanges.
good luck

I disagree with leads-traffic. You can try Popunder or Layer ads, but make sure you are purchasing from the well known company. You can try to google the big names with Popunder advertising.
Make sure you are purchasing the Real Traffic.

Hmm, my experience: I bought about 80.000 PopUnders from different sources, for different MLM's. I had not a single signup...
Who looks at PopUnders? Who doesn't block them nowerdays?
The only results I had and still have with PopUnders are newsletter coregistration services like Optinboom, Subscriptionrocket...
I think that's because they can not be blocked and people rather signup for a free newsletter than buying anything from a popunder website.
regards
Guido

Buying traffic
The problem is not getting traffic to your site. It is getting the right traffic to your site.
If you just want traffic, drop some porn in a directory and post the location on a warez site, but that won’t sell bibles.
Is your intention to drive traffic to a particular page? Once they get there have you constructed it for your audience? Have you done your research on your competitors (what they offer, price comparison, services)? Have you studied the demographics for your targeted audience (Neilson and Jupiter reports).
You need to do your home work. Set “quantitative” goals and objectives. "One" of the means you may decide to use to obtain those goals and objectives may be to purchase online advertising / bids.
Does buying traffic work? It can.

Hi,
Since I wrote the article, I thought I would explain a bit more. The article just explains how to make sure you're buying from a legitimate source. It doesn't explain any techniques to use pop-unders effectively.
Pop-unders and Banner Advertising definetly do work when used appropriately. Many people go out and buy small amounts of traffic, and don't put any effort into marketing for that advertising. What I mean is that they don't buy enough traffic to see accurate results, and they use their homepage as the pop-under.
If you were a brick-and-morter business, would you use your business card as a billboard? Of course not, you need to tailor your pop-under for the pop-under. Fast loading page, one click ordering, and eye catching.
Pop-under advertising is definetly effective, but for even better results check out Pop-In advertising, these results are even better.
Just like google adwords, developing a successful pop-under campaign takes time to perfect, and maximise results. Of course I'm biased, since I'm in the business, but I have seen some impressive results.
Thanks,
Josh

What is the goal of your ad campaign?
First, let me preface my remarks, I sell traffic.
Pop unders, exit traffic, circle jerk trafic.
They all have a usage.
One of the faults of many companies purchasing traffic,
is that they don't understand advertising is an investment,
not an expense.
Example:
This is an example of a typical inquiry from a company;
"If I purchases 1 million (pop under, exit hits, banners) how
many widgets am I going to sell? The fee paid for the traffic
is not relevant.
Answer: NONE
Why, several answers
1) Whom knows your company?
2) Why would someone purchase your product/service?
3) Is your product priced correctly?
4) Is the ordring process easy?
5) Can they speak with a "live person"?
6) Does the customer have confidence in purchasing from your company?
Advertising has to be constant. Whatever your budget, $25, $100, $500, $1000, or $10,000 per month, keep your name (Branding) in front of people.

matrix media never delivered
Word to the wise, do not deal with Matrix Media Group. I recently purchased traffic from them and paid in advance. To my surprise this traffic was never delivered, and now they are trying to convince me that they did send this traffic, when I have a counter on my webpage and have been doing this for over 8 years.
