Press Release or SEO articles?

I have a question for you, what would be the best, presse release or SEO articles to promote my e-commerce?

If you can afford both, they are both fine.
Press release is usually done about your company progress. SEO article is done for a special keyword term promotion through keyword density.
Both require time to develop and money to promote.

Press Releases would be more effective. This will tell people about your company and products both.. In articles, you would tell about your products only indirectly (in the author signature). Then, I suggest you to go with PR submissions initially and then shoot some articles.

Both are quite effective. In the beginning stage press release has an upper edge if you want the promotion directly. I Agree with mit that to go with the pr submissions inititally and then shoot out with some articles.

If you are going with a press release, make sure to check out www.pr.com www.prweb.com and www.prnewswire.com

They are the best for distributing new releases.

Do everything that you can do :-)

You will not able to write a press release and get it released every day. But if you can write good articles, you can do it any time.

Press release is extremely important, because it can potentially give you a lot of juice. Do your own homework and be sure that they are quality, if anyone picks it up from television you just hit the jackpot.

SEO article, anyone can write. Just gotta spend sometime at it, any SEO article is good for site promo so of course do them as well.

Articles are free. Press release submission often paid in most parts unless you have list of media companies which accept press releases.
Press release doesn't mean approval but you have a chance for viral success if someone will find it interesting.
Article submission guarantee 100% approval if it written right without grammar mistakes.
