You can do the following things.
1. increase traffic
2. diversify in different niche.
3. create more interesting content

No dip in traffic here. Although I get lots of traffic from my blog. Perhaps you can try that to drive some traffic.

To earn money online first of all you should have an website or a blog and need to do regular updation untill they hold some good pr or start coming in google rankings. After that you have many options like putting google adsense, clicksor or join some affiliate programs..

You can make money without a website by selling affiliate products.

Do you have a major competitor that has stepped into the picture?

Not that I know of. All of a sudden the new year brought about change in my revenue on my websites. I lost about two thirds of my income and have not fully recovered. I have a hunch that it will come on strong after the summer.
In the mean time I will continue to look for other ways to replace the lost income

Just keep to your plan in marketing and things will only get better in do time. While you are waiting for the summer madness to come, write a few articles or pay someone to do this.
Get a few more quality backlinks going to your sites. Get traffic to your sites and hopefully word of mouth kick's in later on down the road.
Eh, people travel a lot in the summer so i don't expect much income.

From what you've mentioned before as I follow the thread David you've mentioned about a global submitter thus I assume your audiences are webmasters right?
You've also mentioned about various packages which is fairly standard to internet marketing with forums, so I'm guessing that you're running a paid membership program/forums and these memberships are dropping.
If my guesses are correct, have you thought about developing new tools for the webmasters or people looking to SEO their site? Assuming that your homework of SEO has been done well over the years and that your tools are proprietary why not get into a partnership contract with another company doing the same thing? Obviously things have to be spelled out but with the right wording and agreement, you can combine what you have with others.
Good luck with it,
- Swapw

Thank you swapw for the info and as a matter of fact I did send out a few e-mails this past weekend to a few of my competitors asking if they were interested in a JV.
I have tried this recently and got no response. As for creating new tools to webmasters that may be the way to go. I am in the process of writing a series of sales letters for a new website.
I wrote a couple of ads the other day for Global Submitter and gave it to my downline to use and they jumped all over it. I went from 2,3 sign ups a day to twenty!
That got me to thinking.....
Thanks again for the reply.

you need first is to target your market.
then advertise to get traffic
then you can convert the traffic into money.
though it's up to you on how to do this.

Well I think you must move as fast as the tech. moves. Not easy but its a must. and might say I visited your site for some one who sales traffic not having traffic is not a good thing.
however, I would change the site a bit. colors are too sharp. pay a bit of attention to your tags.
good luck

Thanks for the advice and you are right on that selling traffic and not having any is funny! LOL. I do have five different designs but plan on sticking it out.
I have started a new campaign to attract new resellers or affiliates and so far it`s working. I getting two, three sign ups daily and converting one out of three sales.
As far as I know, you can`t see any tags cause they are hidden but still, I appreciate the feedback.

I'd better promote free affiliate than any other business. I have tried paid items / affiliates but I failed but when I promoted free affiliates I can make money. And I focus my promotion in forum discussions.

Another thing we should be doing is selling products that should improve due to the economy. Many of us are already doing so by promoting make money online products.
I'm sure everyone has heard to sell the sizzle not the steak, well every dollar you make online is a profit. Many people don't realize how much money they spend just to have a job, or a second job. Gas, uniform or proper attire, daycare, wear and tear on vehicle, plus the drive to and from is time waisted because your not getting paid.
I'm really suprised to not see this sales strategy being used.
What do you guys think?
