Email Marketing percentages?

Hi all,

I am new to the forums, and I have a question regarding open percentages for email marketing.

I signed up for the free trial at eliteemail.com and my first campaign I got a 73% open and a 2% bounce rate.

How do those numbers stack up? Is this a good deliverability rate?

Im trying to get a good understanding on how all of this works.

I think thats very good rate!

The numbers look promising but the number you should pay attention to is the conversion percentage — in other words, the number of sales that resulted from your campaign should trump all other metrics.

Again, the numbers you present may hold the key to a healthy sales figure.

Ive had some good click numbers, yet it might be too early to determine if the campaign was a success or not.
