Currently working on my MBA major Non Profit & Marketing. I spot this article in a search on Google

when I was doing some research. I thought it was a very good article:

Google holds the "top-of-mind-awareness" making it a leader on the Internet at this point in time. This does make it difficult for other search engines to unseat them.
But as the Internet changes, it will lose some of the market. As social sites like MySpace, Facebook and new types of websites grab the users attention and keep them around longer. With higher speeds, more video, websites making it easy for people to express themselves like YouTube, generation Y growing older and more TV type websites. Could search engines have less of the market and less branding power as each year goes by? How will this impact your business? And what types of approaches should you be using to keep your brand alive?
It has been over a year since this article, Google is still #1 in the search field. When do you think "Google Search" will hit the end of life cycle, if ever?
Sorry I don't get around as often...teens, school and work keep me going
