Have Branding, Need Marketing and SEO ?

Hi everyone. I recently came across this site while searching for Zeus. I have spent over five hours today reading all kinds of articles and posts from this site. I am focussing on a new site and my partner [who is the web deisgner] and I have had numerous sites over the years. Our most popular is a gateway site "E-Pro Studios" at eprostudios.com which simply links to our other sites for the sake of marketing simplicity. However, it is nowhere near what we want it to be. When we advertise this site, it helps push traffic to the others which are related to the Electronic Music Industry. However, now that I'm reading up on SEO etc, this might not be smart at all in terms of overall traffic. It has become very apparent that we have very little SEO experience. IMHO our branding is pretty good but what do you think from your vast experience? Any suggestions on making the brand stick out more for E-Pro?

My main concern is to get a good start and learn SEO and marketing with my new site Motionloops at motionloops.com and apply it to the old sites soon after. We have practically zero SEO at all on the Motionloops site and are ready to start with all the tips in the articles I have read in this site. One of my main questions here [which may belong in SEO Forum] is the fact that I have about 200 streaming videos on the site and would like to rename all the text links, file names, and ALTs to keywords. However, I'm getting mixed signals on if this may actually penalize me because of the repetition.

Also do any of you have suggestions on the branding on this site? Any ideas at all are quite welcome...we're very new to this side of the 'game.'

Well it sounds like you've already got the branding down ok. I would suggest optimizing each site individually. Start will building your IBL to each site. Someone else will have to tackle your question regarding streaming videos as I have no experience with that. Make sure you interlink all of our sites.

You should find the most appropriate key word for your pages and optimize each page.

Alt tags for your pics should be based on the keyword that you are targeting for that page, not same for all of them.
