Ever tried getting your site reviewed?

Hello,

Have you ever tried getting your site reviewed on a few blogs.

I want to advertise a forum using blog posts but is it really worth the cost?

Does it being much traffic?

Any "webmaster" related blogs that are worth it?

I did it. If you can do it on the blogs talking about same niche as your forum then its good. Otherwise not gonna be much effective. Doing it in very popular blogs is a different story.

If you can use a blog with the high-traffic, it is good for you.
But If you have a blog and forum, it will be better for you.

Have you tried sponsored reviews?

There's lots of options in there for webmasters that want their sites reviewed.

i have a blog and i have high traffic i think its a good thing to have that. but having a forum and a blog could be better

Of course the more popular blogs will charge you an arm and a leg! I can understand the power though if it was a related niche. I wonder if you could treat it like a JV to help get the review for free?

Initially try not to use paid service and submit in directories and forums, when you start to get more traffic, may be you can consider paying too.

people dont read blogs, there are more blogs that there are internet users, some people have 7+.

I had my site reviewed, the guys did an awesome job, they used a professional editor to write the review, and the site was a PR4, was a nice backlink, worth the $35 but no traffic.

It's some big review site on blogger.
I forgot the name, but seemed pretty good.
