V7 Entertainment
I need help deciding on a business name for a client. He deals in DVD's.
I thought of "V7 Entertainment". Just popped into my head. He's looking for more options. Any ideas?

Is that Disc U.S.? Or Disc Us as in "we"?

It could be either, although I was thinking of the "we" definition. It's a play on "discus", and my original intention was using "disc" as a verb, as in "to disc us".
Just a silly little thought. It brought to my mind the idea of giving a disc to someone, to "disc" them.

well, shouldn't he try to have his keywords in the URL, for SE purposes.
So, use something that includes DVD.
Possibilities:
dvd-market
get-dvd
dvd-fun
dvd-prophet
Something like that, eventhough these are just silly thoughts.

It's not for a domain. It's just for a company.

Personally, I like the "disc us" proposition a lot... and the phrases that go with it.

D-V-Me
I don't know, it just kind of rolls off my tongue. Of course, I've been hit hard with the flu all week and have a small temperature, so it just might be the icky germies talking.

what's the objective? Who is the target market?
Without knowing those two things,
Video Digits
Digital Video Direct
Vision Disc
Dyna-Vision
Disc Vision
Vision Disc
Discount Video Discs
VidMax
MaxVid
DiscMax
MaxDisc
If it's targeting the educational market
Disc Ed
Digital Ed
Video Ed
Adult
Video Heat
Disc Flesh
Taste of Flesh Video
Disc Heat
Gardening genre
Vid-Grow
Gro-Disc
Kids
Vid-Toons
Disc-Toons
Toon Disc
Big Time Video Discs
Got specifics? I always try to focus on the target market and the objective.

It's adult, but he wants a non-adult sounding name.
I like those. You guys don't klike "entertainment"? Like:
DiscMax Entertainment ?

DiscMax Entertainment sounds ok, it's a bit more desriptive than just DiscMax, so thats handy!

I think DiscMax is kind of hard to say. VidMax sounds better.
