If you have enough fund for advertising, what is the best mothod that you willuse?

Mine is:

1. Adwords
2. I will hire and pay several people to posts in forums with my link in their signatures...

How about you?

Well I currently pay for adwords.

And I am busy posting in forums. I don't know that I would ever pay for posting in forums, since if I was not learning while here I would use my time in another productive way. There must be other ways to get backlinks that take less time than forum posting.

Agreed, it works. Down side: you can get high bounce rates.

Myself, I place ads on sites that have the same or close to same subject matter. At least I know where my ads are and I can watch the click rates. Often it's cheaper than using adword.

Lets say a site charges $20 for a banner (or spot). If I get 700 clicks that's .03 per click and I know the people clicking it will have some type of interest. It also creates a solid back links.
If you use adword, you get no back links and god knows what they charge per click or where your ad will be.

Last time I used adword I got 33 clicks for $5.00 (ouch)

Grab "good" perm anchor from relevant sites. That'll save ya tons of trouble. Obviously those anchors has got to be site wide. The site's got to be relatively active.

PPC realy sends traffic, but forum posting normally gets a click which doesn't have any ROI value.

I would pay for a few press release's on different subjects related to my niche.

Use adwords to target a certain audience.

I'd buy out one of my competitors who's site is more established then mine.

Agreed. A perfect example would be this forum. From their numbers if you bought a spot on here. I would guarantee it would be seen over 2 million times a month. I don't know what they are charging, but I'm sure it breaks down to .0001 per view.

why not use miva for a cheap adwords alternative and then out adwords on your site, it can be like a middleman site then...miva is cheaper.
