I need helps!

I want to quit my current job. However, I don't know what is the good reasons to explain why I must do so. It is even more difficult for me to explain because I just work for this company for 6 months.

Of course, I can't tell the reason that I was unhappy with the working enviroment, company policy.

thanks!

so you're telling me when you applied for the job, you agreed for them to take away your freedom of speach? Always tell the truth....or you could say it was a conflict of interest

Thanks!

Of course, I know what to tell my current boss reason why I quit the job but I can't find a good reason to explain at an interview for the new job. It is not good to criticize the current company or to tell the truth. They may think that I am too demanding.

Actually, I quit once already after one month probation. I was offered another job at another company. He is also good friend of the my new boss to be. He request to postpone my application approval until I finish the two months probation. I really shocked about this.

Current boss did not want me to go. Have you ever worked for a "family organization" where the GM is the father. Everyone is considered baby. A baby can not do anything without parental advisor. Therefore, staff really passive and not indepent. Now, It is not their fault since they have operated for 10 years more with the same way.

I can adapt myself to this circumstance. I am afraid that after a year, I will become one of them.

The first thing I would do is make sure you explain to your old boss that you were not getting what you expected in your current position. Try not to be negative and point out the faults of others. Make it sound like you were expecting quick advancement, training, support or whatever is lacking in you existing job that is not meeting your needs. Make sure you leave in a POSITIVE manner. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT! I would even say something like "I love working here but I need to explore other options that better fit my career path" or something in that nature. That way your old boss can give a recomendation or try to get a recomendation letter from him/her. This will help when applying for a new position but not required.

If you leave on GOOD terms then when you are asked about this on your job interview NEVER, I repeat NEVER put down your old company or say anything negative. Most hiring managers or HR person typically hate this. Try not to focus too much on the old job and talk about the new possibilities in the new position you are applying for. You could tell them that the position was not what you expected and when trying to explore advancement within the company that they were not able to fullfil your needs and that you needed to expore other options and that is why you are applying for this new position. The faster you get off the topic without being obvious the better. Focus on the positive and the future not on the negative or the past.

The good news is that you were not there that long and most hiring managers will understand accepting a job that wasn't really the job you were looking for. They deal with this all the time. The bad news would be that you have left two different jobs and neither lasted over or around 6 months. If I was interviewing you I would be concerned that I would spend a lot of money training a new employee that may leave in less than a year.

I hope this helps.

I'm sure you didn't mean that. Is lying going to do any good?

"parentalism" is a very poor managerial style. And it's often almost impossible to "cure" the offender. I would find other employment, ASAP.
