Google Play Services has stopped Message

Is there a permanent solution for the annoying message "google play services has stopped" after every restart on Samsung S5.

I think we receive this message whenever we change the settings of our OS (android).

Update the Google Play Service to the latest One or if the latest one has the problem then downgrade it to an earlier version. Or else if you are using a custom ROM then you can download the appropriate Google Apps which will help.

Sometimes clearing the cache of that particular application will also help.
Go to Settings > Apps > All
Select the Google Play Services and then click on the CLEAR CACHE.

Google Play Service is an important Android Service which is needed by many Google Apps, so you cannot bypass this.

I'v encountered the same problem, I'm using S5 AU with a custom ROM, I though this issue is because of the incompatibility and tried with the solution shibaa987 provide but it doesn't help

I uninstall Google Play Services every time and then update again.

This method works for me when I was using s4 since your phone is S5 its worth trying this method.
You can also try this method go to apps->Google play services-> Uninstall updates
Else
enter into recovery mode and clear the cache.
