I need an iphone 5C battery

My iphone 5C battery is going downhill fast. Last time I had a battery changed at the Apple store it cost about $80.

There are a lot of alternate batteries for sale on E-bay and Amazon. Any recommendations?

I will suggest to go for original iPhone battery only.
I had a Galaxy NOTE from old days and after several years of use I had to replace the battery which I did from a local store nearby. After a year of use the battery was swollen.

So if you buy a battery from a third party store, you never know what may go bad.

Why would you even think of using another battery. To save a few quid, but risk it catching fire or the like. The ones with there own batteries go up in smoke regularly enough.

Follow up - I went to a shop that services all types of cell phones. They replaced the battery in an hour for $40 and it's been working fine for nearly six months.
