The old kid on the block is new -- and learning

Hi folks. Well... I feel kinda old, tell you that. I'm on the other side of the hill and have been working on content- and design driven SEO for the past 3-4 years. Been at all the places where it's fancy to do so. Have had some success, sure, but it's slow going. Slow and steady does it.

Within the company I work for I've recently moved into the link building team where things are done VERY different from how I knew them. PM here, a Paypal payment there, 2 links places, a directory submission and a couple of days later we have a client happy that his term is moving up so fast.

You can imagine my reaction: WTF?!

So... here I am, starting to learn again but from a new angle. My first job-related task is to buy links, links, links. So I expect that is the forum where I'll be most of the time.
