New from Oregon

Hi everyone, New to the forum. Came here as a recommendation of jim Gillum. So thanks Jim I live in southern Oregon and have lived here since 85 orginally from California. I have been in home based business's since the 70's. Yes i was in Amway, Avon, Jewlery, Shaklee. all the older ones before the internet marekting scene came to be. I was the computer operator when they took up whole rooms with special air conditioning and halcyon systems. Big IBM's maybe some of you older ones remember them? Now I am working on a laptop but the two worlds are entirely different for me. 2400 ft magnetic tapes drives and 14" platter disk drives.

Oh well enough history lesson LOL Glad to be here and join in with all of you. Hope to learn even more and hopefully contribute as well. Thanks for having me.

Actually jim didn't warn me about anyone.....should he have?? No he actually said it was a very good site. And Jim is on enough of them to be an expert.

Snakeair... Geez I had forgotten about the commodor 64 I can almost remember what it looks like. And compared to today they were veryyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy slowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

Jim.....I remember the punch cards as well. I worked for telephone company as a keypunch operator. That is one thing you didn't want to drop!!

Scriptman. Well it is worth the trip to Oregon to visit. It is a beautiful state. If you ever get the chance.

Ross, You have missed out on alot of things. You never got to see how we got to this age (laptops, video games, cell phones) You watched history being made so to speak. I am not sure what kind of history you will experience in your lifetime.
