My name is Melissa and I like millions of others hold two jobs - teacher & web developer.

I teach high school Biology and any time I have left is usually spent working on some type of web development.

Just wanted to shoot a little hello to everyone.

It is good to have you here. Hey Texas has been at the cutting edge of IT & micro electronics for 50 years.

IBM had (don't know if it is till there) a lab at Blue Ridge ... they experimented with Virtual Reality on the web long before anyone else. I used to present "Internet For Business" seminars in the mid to late 90s here in the UK.

During the seminars, I used to surf live, using a 32kbps modem (fastest beast of that time but stone age stuff now), to the IBM Blue Ridge site and "walk through" their virtual offices. The audience were mesmerised.

Thanks to all Texans for their contributuon to the advancement of hi-technology.
