Blogging , writing articles related to your niche , joining forums related to your niche and posting some good contents there and creating some good backlinks there , also you can use signature as a backlink to your site ,joining some social network and bookmarking site like eZdia , digg etc which helps you to bring a good traffic to your site.

Blog commenting is good if you know how to interact with other bloggers. SEO is good if you are knowledgeable about it. However, forum marketing is good even if you are a beginner. You simply to make friends and create valuable replies.
