Yes forum signatures make money but you I suppose the one who sells his signature must have some good and quality posts and have above 500 posts.

I think forum sig could get us backlinks, and if your sig is attractive,it also take your traffic.

I already check my backlinks using backlinkwatch and Yahoo Site Explorer. I compared the results and I see many of my clients backlinks are from forums.

I guess 500 forums will take a while. or you can hire someone to do it for you. bit by bit, it will hit 500.

Persistence is the key. If you persist long and hard enough at most anything, you can probably succeed. That also happens to be something most internet marketers sorely lack.

i think if we all focus on using forums in a way that its not just for link and traffic, it will be better for all of us, as it will be a place with genuine information and good threads not junks that some people who wanted to get some links started.
its like anything else, if you mean well and do the right thing eventual you will get good result, you may get temporary result from cheating but we know how it will end.

I know looking at my google analytics that some of my forum signature links drive more traffic to my sites than some of the paid links I purchase.

yes its kind of hard to post on that many forums in a productive way, sure you can use softwares but its spam, so it wont do you any good.

I Thinks 500+ Forum Post is not the easy things. but you should have to work hard for that Forum post give you good Back links and will also increased your SERPS.
