Do you speak any other language?

Hi! I know a good solution if you want to build a high traffic website.
Write in an other language.the competition is much smaller for example in a small
european country.I am from romania, and I have olso englesh and romanian websites and I know that it is much more easier to get to the first page of google for a keyword in my romanian sites.

I am a French resident in US, my site is in English and I am not planning to offer another language on my site.

The main reason is a huge worldwide shipping cost, that's why we mainly offer our products in US and Canada.

Now if some customers overseas really want our products, they can but most of the time when they get the shipping cost, they don't buy.

Besides that some products cannot travel by air because of some regulations.

So why bother to spend energy on other languages?

Hello Everybody and thanks for this post "miti88"

I speak 4 languages

I think this is a good idea about have a site in different languages. Yes English is the main , but lets take Spanish for instance, there is an immense number of Spanish speakers in Latin countries... French, German or Russian they are all important in my idea.

So if it is a kind of website for all the people in the web it could be nice they read something in them native language.

good point. but the internet's basic language is still english. if having less competition means loosing clients, then I won't risk it.

I agree with you miti88. Why? because i already did this about 3 months ago. You know what? I can earn $5 to $8/Day with AdSense just with one blog. But the hard way is you need to learn learn and learn again again and again. But it's worth.

I am Polish and my website is in English only. Maybe I will translate it into Polish language and main other European languages like French, German or Russian. I can not translate it into Chinese unfortunately - that is a really weird language for me

All you mean is going local. But what if our target market is UK or USA?

Canada has 2 official languages: English and French.

Thou most speak English in Canada and the USA have you not considered you are cutting off a whole niche market in North America for those who prefer to communicate in French whether they speak both English and French or just French? There must be some areas in the US where a whole community prefers to communicate in French like there is in Canada.
