Your ideas to start own business, how to start and which one to choose?

Hi guys

I have hired a dedicated guy to work for me. I arranged PC and Internet connection for him and will give him salary on monthly basis. I am sure I can make money by appointing a dedicated staff so I did this. Now next step is how to start and which business to choose?

I have many business in my mind which are

Domain Parking
I am already making some money by parking domain and then sending traffic via forum posting or AdWords and it works. I got paid 2 times after using this tactics so it worked.

Selling ebooks
I have a website www.ebooksparadize.com (which was enabled with Adsense but now Adsense account is suspended). Earlier I made few sales but I did not pay attention to this. But this is also an opportunity.

Affiliate Marking
I am already member of CJ + ShaeASale. I can put links on my business portal site www.globalcashsite.com and then market those pages at forums, etc.

Domains flipping / Website flipping
Still I am new to this, never tried this but this is a good way to make money. For example register a domain, park it (so in the meanwhile its ranking is increasing or page rank is increasing or traffic is increasing still you can make money or cover your cost), promote at forums, etc and after 2-3 months, when page rank is 3-4 and alexa rank is less than 500k, sell it. According to different niches, price might be different. But for example if I buy one domain for 10$ and sell it after 3 months for 100$ (and during 3 months I also make 50$ by parking) that is good. And if I do the same for 10 domains, that is clearly 1400$ profit. Just example, good niches like Insurance, Banking, Financial can give higher profit.

Forum Posting / Forum marketing services
Another idea is to work for others in marketing. I am working to collect at least 5000 forums, blogs where I can post. So also can work for others on order basis.

Now my monthly cost will be the same i.e. staff salary + net connection bill. It is up to me how I utilize this guy. The actual and main problem is how to bring traffic that works. So finally there are two main questions.

1. Which business to choose or better. If that is not listed above, please add your suggestion.
2. How to bring traffic that works and also create backlinks to increase domain value.

Your valuable suggestions please?

My hired staff is not much qualified and experienced regarding internet or business opportunities. And personally I don't have such time to spend on this. What I am looking for is "Set pattern and give instructions to my staff and he can keep doing work". Once a week I give him instructions.

So I am looking for such kind of opportunity or business setup. It looks for about.com it needs to be a qualified and experienced person.

Correct. Before doing, you should have some knowledge about it. Every success can be achieved only by the sequential process.

Then you aren't going to be too successful then. Why should other people do your research for you?

I would also go with Jim's suggestion. Do some
basic research yourself about what you chose
yourself to do. I can't make a recommendation
since we may have different passion for the
same subject.

So you hired someone before choosing your business? Correct me if I am wrong but it should be the other way around

For your business to last you need to be inspired by it. Not like it because some days you will not like it no matter what job you have. If it inspires you then you can be driven to perform the tasks it takes to start it up.

The market might be to risky. Some markets have so many competitors that you will be clawing just to get scraps. Find a niche that people are looking at that not many competitors are aware of just yet.

Also you need to know some base knowledge of your business. If you have no idea how it works how can you explain it to your customers. These few things are what you need to keep in mind when starting up a business

No, actually I think I missed some thing in my original post or I did not mention how it should be.

I know above all above businesses but I was just looking for comparison and experience of others regarding these opportunities. Might be I assume that opportunity "A" is better than all and will give results but 5 people at forums suggest with logic that opportunity "B" is better than others then surely I will follow their suggestion.

It does not mean I am new to this, I am just looking for comparisons or new additions. I am not looking for general business talks or long and boring theories. I am looking for specific opportunity with experienced results from others so I can choose the right one and start it first and then spend time on remaining.

if some one outsource or run outsourcing business and have worldwide employees or local office and have to call a meeting boss just tweet by SMS and all employees get alert on there mobile
this is very good and unique idea and can make big bucks and i think this is unique then twitter
but it ll fail in case if someone proved this service for free

you are totally right globalcashsite, but it becomes really hard to make a website stand out with better seo and all that stuff again link building content writing etc is a very tiring thing..but i think you are on right track..i was also thinking to do samething.

I think you have to define your business model before hiring anyone.

I would say affiliate marketing is probably the best way to go, but you need a good plan and from your post I am guessing that you really do not have one, otherwise you would have had the answer to your question already.

I think you skipped a couple steps here....

Should you not have thought of and TESTED a business plan/idea prior to hiring someone?

Any idea will take time to develop and show any kind of steady revenue. Hiring additional help usually comes in to play when you are making good money and there is room to make more but limited due to lack of manpower.

I will just say - you should do something that is of interest and that you care about otherwise you will often lose interest.
