Exclamation Freelancing new age

I would like to introduce to you an idea I just got about an outsourcing (odesk.com, vworker.com, freelancer.com are outsourcing sites) method.
As we may all see, in the internet we have plenty of websites for outsourcing (also mine being created).
But what if we build a SOFTWARE, that workers and buyers can use to do everything, thought their desktop, I mean the software will be handling profiles editing, payments, project postings (and everything) and the website will be just for some articles may be and showing users profiles (public view of profiles).

Do you think it's a good idea ?
Why I think it's better :
- It's new
- No one used that
- Easier for usability (no javascript, ajax or design limitations from browser to another)
- Securer

It will be great if you can make such software. Its just boring to edit our profile and bid every time on the same project. So a software can make our job easy and it will save our time. Its really an unique idea.

A software with adequate automation would do great justice. Hope to see it implemented soon!

I'd rather see more freelancing sites popping up first ... and maybe after the software to allow the freelancer and the employer a centralised control for all of them.

You have to also remember the compatibility issues from one browser to another. I suggest using a language that supports Adobe AIR or similar that way the software can be used on multiple platforms.

Furthermore, I think it's a great idea! Now, if you do not mind, let me add to it...

I suggest giving the option for the end users to be able to use a Web Interface as well as computer software. The reason being is that you might have a hard time getting end users to trust your company enough to download software to their local machine. If you started a site with a web interface and then offered the downloadable software down the road, you would already have a customer base to offer it to. They tell their freelancer friends and so on and so forth!

I hope I could help, if you have any questions I'm happy to help!
