How to sell mp3 files on my site?

I want to setup a web-site to sell my friend's mp3 tracks with some relaxation and hypnotic music.
Is there any existing solutions, PHP scripts or something that I can use?
Please advice
Thank you

If you don't mind giving some commissions for the payment system, Plimus.com is aimed at helping sell intangible items.

yes me too recommend plimus. but if you have paypal merchant account. you can use that too. but they only accept major payments methods. however plimus, 2checkout are best solutions you can rely on.

Plimus? Why don't you use PayPal? If you're doing legit business, PayPal is the best payment processor. Plimus fees are too much and from what I heard in various different forums, they're scam.

Hm-mm. Being "legit" won't stop PP from arbitrarily and capriciously holding your funds until the cows come home.

How many merchant accounts have you had experience with?

If one has problems with PayPal then they must have done something to upset them. It's been 8 years now I have been using them and never had funds held or any other problems.

Non sequitur. Note that I said "arbitrarily and capriciously."

All things are not equal.

Are you selling? If so, selling a good or a service? If selling a good, tangible or intangible?

if you use plimus, you can accept wide range of payment methods for your product. customization and customer support is very good in plimus.

but if your customers use paypal very much, you can rely on paypal too as the fees are relatively less in paypal.

I am really curious with selling mp3. I think it's less profitable for business.

You have to think of copyright law before selling mp3s and copy right material.Itunes really consider that before approving any business. therefore If you are going to copy mp3 s from one place and sell them. they will soon ban your account.Search for something you have and pass copyright laws.

If by this you mean to copy that which you already possess, that's not legal either. There's no such thing as "passing copyright."

The only legal way is to buy legitimate copies of the product and resell them; or, create, record, and produce your own original content.

I mean by "something you have and pass copy right laws' is some open source softwares, templates can be edited and release as your own programs.Otherwise you can take some pictures (you must have a good eye) and sell them in stock images selling web sites.

Well, the subject of the thread involves the selling of MP3 music files.

Your post implied that you were referring to such files.
