This post is all about knowing your target audience.

A fact that many business owners seem to forget is that emotion typically drives many of our buying decisions. If youíre interested in bringing a product, service or concept to market, then you canít expect to achieve much success if your audience feels no personal connection to your brand or idea. We want to feel drawn to the things we buy on a personal level.

Online marketing is about more than simply plastering images and phrases regarding your product all over the internet. You need to show your audience that you have personality, vibrancy, and soul. So how exactly do you create a lasting emotional connection with your audience?

I think this is really important for all businesses. If there is no emotional connection with your audience there is no trust.

Without trust, you can hardly convert your leads to people who purchase.

Yep! Emotional connection helps a lot. People like to see other people in the mix of products other than text so video may play a huge role when attempting to connect emotionally with your audience too.

Establishing an emotional connection might work with some customers and it might not work with some customers. You need to know the customer temperament and you should build connections accordingly.

One of the best example I could give you is Hulse Elliott - I think what he does is called influence marketing if I am not mistaken but the bottom line is that he doesn't force it which quiet frankly creates the emotional connection you are talking about.

Professional websites have a distinct problem with this, because most professions (doctors, accountants, or my own, attorneys) have really binding rules that affect how a site will look. Obviously any of those professions would want to have a certain amount of - I guess you would say "professionalism" - about the site, but it does make it really hard to get away from dry, boring content and toward that emotional connection. Anyone have any examples of solutions to this problem?

Yeah don't sell the product, sell the experience and solution. I was just listening to a recording about this.
