Have you succeeded with an online business? Tell us about it

Hello you guys

I enjoy reading about other peoples success with their onlines business.

When did you start, what do you sell, how did it delevlop and what are your future plans?

I started my own online business back in 2016. I have a danish (and soon swedish) webshop where I sell handpainted paintings. I dont paint them myself but work together with alot of artists that does. At the beginning of this year I reached the point where I could live of it 100%, and the sales are still improving. Its a great feeling, and now when I am expanding to other countries in northend europe I my hopes are high for the future

If you have a story to tell, post it here.

I run a site full-time that started in 2013, and income sources are product sales, e-books, google ads, and sponsored content. Site generates about 300K visitors a month from both organic and social. Our products are also in Amazon and ebay. All together, more than enough to make a living and higher some help. Didn't happen overnight and took time, but it's worth it.

Is your product unique? I have seen so my businesses fail selling the same product as others.

Having an ecommerce/online business is risky & expensive (large number of people make losses) in my country & there's cutthroat competition (just last month a client of mine went belly up). So rather than get into it myself, I thought it'd be better to provide such people with services! Their risk is theirs, their rewards are mine.
