What is the inexpensive way to receive business calls abroad?

I want to be able to answer my business phone when I am out of the Country. I have looked into roaming charges and they are too expensive for me. How can I do this? How do businesses set up their call centers abroad?

If you have the budget I'm sure there are many solutions. If you are looking for something low cost, try looking into Ooma.

I am testing it now and for about $5 CDN per month, I've got free Canada-wide calling. For about $15 per month, it includes the US as well. I'm sure there is an international plan too, but you will have to search that out.

In terms of cost, it's about 80% less than Bell, with all, or most of the same features. However, it is VoIP.

Thank you so much for this. I will check them out. I want to start spending more time in Africa and still be able to answer my U.S business calls.
