I would think that it depends on the copyright laws in the country where the copyright is registered.

I agree with most of the answers here. It depends on what country you are in right now.
I currently reside in Australia and working for a writing firm, I could say that BPO companies in Australia do it all the time. Without any attribution.

It depends on the law of each country. But usually, have 2 group below:
1-Private Label Rights (PLR): You can sell the product as is (Like MRR), or you can change the content and put your name as the author.
2-Master Resale Rights (MRR): You can sell the product, but you can't change the content, and you can't claim ownership of the product.
