Maximum # of PayPal Accounts

Recently I've purchased 3 webhosting companies and I would like a sales@domain.com PayPal for each of them. Would that mean 3 separate PayPal Business accounts? I already have a Premier account, is there a maximum number of accounts I am allowed, or is there a way that I can have an email automatically forward payments sent to it to another account?

You can have up to 5 addresses that funnel money to a single account. The receipt will be mailed as coming from the primary address so you need to make your clients aware of that fact. I do sales @ domain1 and sales @ domain2 using this method.


You can also have more than one account IF you have a business checking account for each account that you create. Each entity (person or business) may only have two accounts one personal and one business or premier.

YOu can add each mail address to one account and use them for receiving payment.... I guess a total of 5-6 email are allowed to be linked to single account...

And that can be a problem. We also had purchased a web hosting company, and what we did was just take over the PayPal account of the company we acquired.

PayPal lets you have only two accounts on a single person's name. One personal/premier and one business. You can add additional email profiles in your PayPal account, but your customers/clients will see your primary business account name on their transaction history and not others.

It can be a problem as far as brand is concerned, if you wish to have a separate business account (name) for each hosting company, you may want the help of a trusted family member, friend, or finances manager to hold the extra accounts for you and act as a liaison.

You are allowed to have 1 personal and 1 business or premier account. You can also add upto 5 email addresses in each account but make sure to choose a primary email address for each account.
You may use other email addresses that you add in your account but you can only deal with one you make primary.

You are allowed 8 email address on a single premier account I know for sure... I know because I am maxed out. I wish they would allow unlimited...

You can add emails to your current PayPal account.
If that's a problem and you run a business[I'm assuming this is with employees] just ask your employees to make the accounts.

What did you mean by (I am assuming this is with employees). Why their employees should make the accounts?

Oh no, you can operate them all from one single account. No need to open 3 accounts. Also never attempt to open more than 1 account in paypal from the same IP address, because on tracking your IP, paypal may block your account, and freeze all the money. Thus play safe.

You can add email addresses, but it will show one company name.

I believe you can have one personal paypal account and one business account.
