Liberty Reserve

I couldn't find a payment processors discussion forum so I'm posting here. My apologies if this is not the correct section.

One of my new customers prefers to use Liberty Reserve to make payments so I signed up for an account. Does anyone here have any experience with them? Any good or bad experiences?

^ If V7 had a "Thanks" button I'd click it.

It does. The green plus button at the upper right of each post.

Ahh, wasn't so obvious. Thanks button clicked for both of you guys Now if someone can tell me their experience with Liberty Reserve, they'll get 'thanks', too

Never heard of them until your post actually. Some quick google'ing shows that they seem to specialize in Off shore online casino transactions. On their fees page, they make mention that they're not under US jurisdiction.

Some discussion about them being mixed up in the Nigeria spam trade.

*shrug* Just on ethics alone, I wouldn't use them unless I had to.

^ It won't let me press the thanks button for you this time. It says I have to spread more rep around first.

Anyway, good thoughts.

Liberty Reserve on the other hand, does not require any documentation before one can open an account and use to send & receive money online.
That caught my attention, too, when I enrolled.

Aside the keen interest in forex, many Nigerians also use Liberty Reserve to pay for services like web hosting, sms vouchers, virtual credit cards etc.
Maybe I shouldn't use it on my hosting order form as a payment gateway.
