I use PayPal for my business. Although they have been known to keep money from their customers and not let them get to it. A friend of mine had $35k in her account and PayPal would not authorize her to get it because she did not withdraw enough a month and did not have enough transactions. They said she was hording her money in their services....

Doesn't make sense does it? Corporate owned

Why would someone leave $35k in a non interest bearing account?

She didn't leave it there lol, PayPal neglected to notify her that she didn't have an active enough account with transactions (going out of the by her) so they denied her access for investigations. To this day from 2011 she has not been able to get that money and has been fighting a court claim since then against them.

This has also happened to me over $13 in my old PayPal account from not using it for 4 months. There are shady areas of this company that are being kept back and a friend of mine who works for them has revealed more than anyone should know about. Let's just say they like to keep their investments, and if something looks good enough to them they will keep it upon false accusations upon any means necessary.

paypal is OK but as far as i know it doesn't allow users to make deferred payment. even if so, it is expensive. i suggest you to make agreements with banks to use their virtual payment systems. at the beginning they will charge you much but when you increase your turnover you will be charged less and less

Paypal is still the most trusted and secure payment method for me.
I've been using it since I started doing an online job and freelance.
A lot of my friends have been using paypal as well.

Besides PayPal I'd say MoneyBookers, 2Checkout.

For CC processing you might check Authorize.net
