B&W Photos
Not sure where to exactly post anything so I will try a thread reply. New to the Community game ya know!
I have been shooting B&W for amny years and conversions in the digital world make it so simple. I shoot everything as if it were black and white because I look for contrast or lack of it.

Hopefully this will work
And it didn't. I can't manage to attach my photo. Tried about 6 or 7 times. Even resized the photo.

These are so beautiful! I especially love the rose. There is something so exquisite about black and white shots!

MrSS's Black & White Shots
My share for this challenge, it looks trash yet I know admin cricket don't care (am I right?) as long as I take participation.
These photos are random shots, due to lack of subject I come up with this rubbish shots.
The half paint wall in my room:

My dried clothes, hanging on the ceiling.

The house intersection ours.

Am just using my camera phone, sorry for low quality photos. Thanks!

Cricket challenged those of us at the Facebook to thread to post something in black and white.
I was looking at the shots already posted yesterday and Gamma Rascal talked about using a high contrast colour shot to create interesting black and white photo's - so I started to play today.
The original was taken June 2010 at Long Beach in the West Coast Bog Lands. They are on the bluff above the beach. The day was very grey and the contrast was already high with this bog pine. One is greys and the other is black and white. It is amazing what you can do with a computer!

I know it isn't technically black and white, but I just haven't updated the images. The prints I have at home are.

To me, black and white images deserve the best an image has to offer. I work on my images converting to black and white and delete so many of them for I do not feel they hold the beauty I think a Black and White image should have, but when one I feel is worthy of it, then I am proud of it.
