I don't normally shoot with Black&White in mind but when you process color images with attention paid to color saturation and contrast, they make great B&W images.

it's technically not entirely black and white but heck, infract me 
I used the color picker of my camera to select that red and have the rest in black and white.
I was just walking to an open house so brought my camera with me

me too! It has been a long one! I will do some spring next as soon as the trilliums start to bloom in our park and evrrything else ! Winter is only good for taking pictures!
