Life, Animal, Eye, Wood
I've posted 4 pictures for the photographic scavenger hunt in my latest blog post.
I'm obviously on a macro kick. Wonder if I can change this for the remaining themes.

Catching up
So, I've been taking photos here and there, I just haven't taken the time to post yet. Here is what I have so far!
1 - Joy
3 - Wood
5 - Dark
6 - Water
8 - Peace
9 - Bread
10 - Animal
11 - Random
14 - Concrete
And yes, I have been taking them all on my iPhone... haven't had a chance to take my "real" camera out in awhile.

I got a few more pictures this weekend for the challenge.
#8 Peace - When you walk into the Menger Hotel in downtown San Antonio, there is an instant feeling of peace and comfort.....
#11 Random - Riding on the double decker touring bus in downtown San Antonio, the traffic signals feel VERY close!
#14 Concrete - When I walk through the city, I feel as if I am surrounded by a concrete world....

Nice photos all.
This hunt seems to be attracting a bit of interest. It may be hard to compete with the great efforts shown so far.

It's not a competition. Heck you can use your cell phone to take the shots. It's just about reaching beyond our comfort zone and trying new things. I would love to do this again if we can get enough interest going. I was thinking of one that is capturing all feelings. (sad, happy, scared, hopeful, dreaming, etc...)

A quotations one would be fun too. We choose 10 - 15 quotations and then have everyone take picture that they feel correlate to the quotes. (yeah, I'm weird)

Nope, just painted the common amber color, but the sun was hitting it just right so I decided to play around with over clarifying it during editing.

I particularly like the Benjamins. Nice arrangement!
I would have had to go to the bank and ask them if I could photograph some of their money to have this much cash at once!

Nice stitching. Please clarify - that's concrete down to the water, not sand? Or it's the concrete buildings?

Pride
I've got my photo for pride. It's a picture of a handwoven baby blanket that I'm particularly proud of, since I designed the complex pattern, which I didn't think I could do, in addition to weaving it. You can read more about it on my blog, if you're interested.

#concrete
I was walking down the street the other day and this spill (coffee?) looked like a dandelion to me so I thought it was pretty cool. I looked weird taking picture of a coffee spill and people were giving me strange looks...but it wasn't the first time or the last time so I' okay with it.
anyway, here is the concrete dandelion:

#5 - Dark
That tree is pretty dark and twisted. Wouldn't surprise me if a witch would leave inside or something...

I agree, that is a beautiful concrete dandelion. To hell with the people who thought you were weird!
I also really like the tree - a very unusual configuration, and a great angle.
