Please clarify - that's concrete down to the water, not sand? Or it's the concrete buildings?
The pier is a concrete pier, it won the pier of the year award in UK last year and is close to my home.

There is another stitch taken from on the pier here http://www.v7n.com/forums/1433054-post2.html

I can see why you would be proud of it. It is quite impressive!

Here is my Dark Selection

Here is my Dark Selection

I have a couple of others taken but have not taken the time to resize them.

It was much darker than this image would indicate. I maxed out the lens at a wide open 2.8, ISO 800 and .7 seconds of shutter.

I am not sure what has happened but I am suddenly not being allowed to post. I have tried 3 (this will be 4) times now.
Cricket, is it a tree where a branch has been cut off?
It looks remarkably like a reptile's eye.

Yes, Pam! It is a knot on a tree! When I saw it, my mind saw the eye of a gator.

Pam, sometimes posts are moderated up to the 10th post. Perhaps that is what happened?

I can only imagine what it really looked like, cuz the picture's pretty cool. I'm guessing you didn't play with it in photoshop to get it to look like what it did in real life?

Welp, here's my official "I wanna get in on this" post!

I'll also post my first picture: it's for #15: Communication!

I picked this picture because it took a lot of communication and interaction between these two cats for them to finally tolerate (and eventually love) each other. They hated each other when Jilly (bottom) first got here, because Precious (top) is very territorial.

#12-Weather

Ever wondered what's really at the end of a rainbow?
... apparently, a Meijer gas station.

A rare capture, the end of a rainbow. I guess Mother Nature has seen the price of gas these days too. =)

3. Wood - I love the combination of wood and flowers. ♥

15. Communication - Chattering Squirrel

If you could have heard this cutie chattering at me (I think he was telling me to take a hike) you would understand why I counted this one for communication....

All of mine together so far...

13. Service - Emergency vehicle

It is tough to make a rescue vehicle look cool, so I played with this one in my editor! Love messing with chrome in images.

Straight out of the camera is what I post 99.9% of the time.

I do resize and sometimes compress 10-20%. For web site images I compress even more since there is very little loss of quality at those levels.

9. Bread

I was starting to worry I was going to have to take a picture of a loaf of bread, but then this lil guy came by to help me out with the scavenger hunt...

CUTIE??? This male isn't chattering, he's swearing at you. Or maybe trying to impress you with is junk, thinking you're the biggest win possible.
