America’s First Orwellian Pre-Crime Case
John Burke has been held for 2 ½ years pre-trial without bail in former Governor Weld’s "Circles of Hell," otherwise known as the Departmental Disciplinary Unit or DDU of the Massachusetts Dept. of Correction facility at "Walpole" (a super-max prison within a prison run by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for the Federal government for special detainees) as a tortured, maimed by guards, convicted, sentenced, and punished prisoner -- without trial, conviction or commitment by a court! His case ranks in the annals of infamy as one of the most outrageous abuses of police, court, and prison powers in American history! And it is all happening courtesy of the U.S. Attorney General John Ashcroft and his (no longer) secret GULAG.
Somehow that case reminds me of the Witches of Salem in the 17th Century. I check the link you posted. They even mention the use of a psychic
It looks like the great State of Massachusetts didn't change all that much over a few centuries.
Just watched that POS documentary on DVD. Well, watched about half of it. It's so full of blatant misinformation, conjecture and misrepresentation of facts that I gotta wonder if Republicans hired Moore to create the film to make Democrats look like gullible idiots.

I agree. I think he's horrible for the democratic party. If I were a dem, I would beg him to go republican or shut the hell up.

as the right wing sells out to corporations MM has sold out to tree hugging nature loving liberals...no way in hell the right wing could afford to pony up enough cash to get him to cross that line.
sure he exploits people for profits, but he makes it interesting AND informitive.
through liberal ears I caught a few lies myself, but on the whole it is a film that should have been made and was absolutely wonderful.
Speaking of Iraq, 2 days ago the UN report was finally published, which confirmed that WMD's did not exist in Iraq. Now the newspapers want a public apology from Blair for going to war based on false information
