hey don't work on those people's emotions. Killing children for oil is a complete different subject, that's cool because of the price for petrol, just as dropping toxic neuclear waste on cities with deformed babies as a result is ethical when it is for the benefit of the American economy. Abortion is different, that wrong, get it?

thats different...those people "earned" their punishment

as a person with family members who are bogusly in jail for (oddly enough) murder I am not a fan of most of the fundamentalist nutjob line of thinking.

perhaps if the investigators did not have other inmates hold my brother down and put matches out between his toes and slice his stomach open with razors until they could get some sort of confession I could believe in our legal system a bit more.

if some of my own supervisors did not feel the need to destroy their own review documents of me before processessing me out of the military perhaps I could believe in the military system a bit more.

if one of my past coworkers did not have her son on scene when saddams kids were killed perhaps I could believe in war for oil a bit more.

of course the way things are going now just typing this could land me in jail for an unknown amount of time without reason and without access to any legal voice - and people see no problem with that <--- close minded and just plain dumb IMHO.

recently I have had *******s email me telling me I am a terrorist just for expressing my opinion. I will probably move away from this country soon to avoid an extended stay in jail for speaking my opinion.

YIKES! with all this discussion , I think I can talk about what I do and have experienced. I know John you said you are not to talk about your work...but my work is spiritual in nature and as long as I dont mention the "B" word...perhaps I can talk about some of these issues....in relation to my own experience and interactions with the Immortals?

Awall, you are welcome in my country. many Americans have already moved here the past two years, all for the same reason. Funny enough it's the 'intellectuals' who leave the country first, those who add value to a culture, writers, actors, scientists and other celebrities who are independent enough to be able to leave.

I hope you can too, the "invironment" in the US is very unfriendly towards human rights and freedom in general. Not for "true patriots' of course, true patriots have nothing to fear of.

Only yesterday I was sitting on the same table with 4! very famous Americans who all came to live in Amsterdam and will stay here untill the 'political climate' in the US has changed for the better. One of them is a very well known writer, one a very popular American actor and the other two work in the music industry. There is an "American community" here in Amsterdam that grows by the day, statistics show we never had so many American immigrants in history.

I was watching the movie "Liberty bound" last week and this documentary (yep, not like Moore's little ego trip) is showing some examples of how the patriot act works. Like people who get questioned by the FBI for emails they send and stuff. Stuff you can't believe to be true untill you see it with your own eyes. Remember Cat Stevens?

I for one....would love to see all the liberal pinheads move to Europe. I am tired of people bashing America who is the light of Freedom for the world.

The Immortals work tirelessly in the pursuit of freedom for the world and America is their main avenue for advancing civilization into a global community of free peoples.

America feeds the world, heals the world, has given you the technology...that the Europeans use to Bash her, has liberated and freed millions of people.

The trouble with Liberals and spiritual New agers...is that in leaving behind traditional fear-based religions and the fear of god....they have in its place...replaced it with
arrogance, total self-absorption and self-gratification.

There is no right or wrong in a liberals mind...only shades of gray, Im okay your okay.... and look at the mess we are in.

We have 7 different levels of spiritual evolution going on ...on this planet....many of those levels like: tribal, mass, individual, and such are war-like in nature and are driven by fear and scarcity mentality. As long as we have these many levels of spiritual evolution we are going to have evil people doing evil things.

We cannot allow evil to proliferate and destroy the possiblity of freedom for every human being

What, and we all starved to death when the USA didnt exist a couple of hundred years ago? The only Western European country to have a famine is Ireland. The rest of Europe can feed itself..

Yes, Europeans are bad because they don't know evil things like Saddam and oil for food and freedom fries.

Americans are very spiritual and so god loves them with Kerry and bush and Howard Stern and other great men and leaders.

Bill O'reilly said the Europeans are up to no good and they are not willing to submit to America's moral authority and America's destiny to provide the world with a plan for true democracy and justice for all.

And most importantly, the Europeans suck because they don't let the Israeli people, who were chosen by god, run their countries. they will pay dearly for that stupidity.

What's more, American words are better than European words because American words have a built-in moral superiority. in fact, everything that is American is better than anything else in the world because Americans have god's blessings.

And Reagan and Clinton and Bush are all great presidents because they understood that making wars is the only way to have a peaceful world. The Europeans are far too stupid to have wars for peace. Only Israel and America can make the world a more peaceful place and live happilly thereafter.

It's the media's fault. People here don't realize how we are perceived throughout the world. We have to DIG for truth and information.

Well, the debates have everything to do with who will become the next oppressor, No one here in the rest of the world has any illusions Kerry is any different than Bush when it comes down to "foreign policies" (read bullying the world). The self-proclaimed police-of-the-world is loosing it's credits all over this planet and those debates are followed in the rest of the world with this in mind.

In Holland we just had the biggest demonstration in our history last weekend to kick our present government out, mainly because of their buttlicking the American administration. Sending troops to Iraq was political suicide for them.

See, America does have influence in the world, not a good one, but they do have influence.

We also have a team of journalists in NY to cover the elections and we see what is happening every day.

Some of it is in Dutch but most of it is English and it gives you an impression of how we see things, and the kind of questions we ask.

This is our non profit public broadcast news agency btw, not "biased" at all, there is no need for 'biased news' down here, in fact we have laws to prevent it.
