If you think about it, it's kind of ironic. At this time, the US is even more socialist than I believe the Nazis were. Odd how things turn out.

Talk about biased this is really retarted. They love Micheal Moore but wont be fair in the other party maybe pointing out something too. Maybe they have something to be scared of.

The Democratic National Committee (news - web sites) planned to file a complaint with the Federal Election Commission (news - web sites) on Tuesday contending that Sinclair's airing of the film should be considered an illegal in-kind contribution to President Bush (news - web sites)'s campaign. Also, 18 Democratic senators sent a letter to the Federal Communication Commission asking that it investigate whether Sinclair's plan was an improper use of public airwaves.

Mike moores flick wasnt broadcast for free on 72 TV stations. Is there anything wrong with companies that own tv stations using those stations to promote their political views? no, but there is something wrong with calling it news.
anyone could see F9/11 was an opinion. broadcasting it on the news wouldve been wrong. not having seen this documentary, I can't yet comment on its objectivity. but reading this:
Campaign finance records show that company's executives have donated thousands of dollars to Bush's campaign. In April, the company was in the news for refusing to run a "Nightline" show in which hundreds of names of American troops killed in Iraq (news - web sites) were read by ABC anchor Ted Koppel.
doesn't lead me to expect a non-partisan film. This isnt news. If there arent already laws agains this, I think there should be. disgraceful

I agree, news should be as neutral as possible, there are many alternatives to broadcast opinions, those companies can air talkshows and stuff. For me personally I find it non ethical, whoever is guilthy of doing it or whatever their goal is or political view. It's manipulation and not ok in my book.

The basic principles of socialism are Gov't control of business of business and a strong wealth redistribution system. The US Gov't is doing both pretty aggressively, especially the wealth redistibution part.

I don't know much about how the economy worked in Nazi germany so maybe America is more socialist than them. But compared to the rest of the world, America seems to me is a prime example of a country thats pretty close to 'laissez faire' style of free market capitalism.

That is an especially interesting concept since under his administration:
"Commerce Department data on national income trends released on August 27 point toward troubling developments in the current economic recovery. Of greatest concern, wage and salary growth for workers has been exceptionally poor while corporate profits have enjoyed unusually large gains."

"Average CEO compensation at the 50 firms outsourcing the most service jobs increased by 46 percent in 2003, compared to a 9 percent average increase for all CEOs at the 365 large companies surveyed by Business Week. Top outsourcers earned an average of $10.4 million in 2003, 28 percent more than the average CEO compensation of $8.1 million. From 2001 to 2003, the top 50 outsourcing CEOs earned $2.2 billion while sending an estimated 200,000 jobs overseas."

And while the rich are getting richer, tax cuts help the national deficit and debt grow.

Cutting the funds for education and health care...while also pillaging Social Security funds.
