Ya I agree with you southnow, there is an absolute truth, though humans are unable to full grasp what it is I believe. The absolute cannot be seen or touched, we just view a version of the perfection in our daily lives. (Plato's Theory of Forms).

Jesus is God in human flesh. He created us so He died for us. That is the miracle in it. God did not send some third party otherwise there would be no real salvation as the third party, did not create us.

So basically if you read what is there Jesus Himself is saying He is God the Father. If you were to ask any Jews today they would agree with me that there is only one God.

Ferre I assume you are joking when you write that and knowing you, maybe not. Regardless it very dangerous to even make light of what God says as what the following verses read.

Revelation 22:18-19 says: "For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book."

I dont have a problem with any of them although it is sad they dont go by the Word of God.

I know "Good sincere people" In several differant ones but that doesnt make it right.

Yeah I was just interested. I just wonder how you can be sure that christianity is the "real" one, and why it isnt one of the more popular religions? Perhaps their religion is real, and we don't get into whatever afterlife they see, and are cast away...

It would be more accurate if you would add "I believe" only God is truth. This would be a whole lot more realistic. See, there are millions on this earth who do not believe this to be true, in fact there are more people on this earth who do not believe so than there are people who do.

I don't mind you giving us your opinion but please realize that's what it is..your opinion, not "the truth".

I know people who believe we all come from another planet originally and they also believe this to be the only truth. Cmon Doc, learn how to communicate with others without bringing up theories as absolute truth.
