You should be feeling pretty good about Penn. Maybe your seo, blogging, ads, etc helped make that state a big Kerry win?

If Bush takes ohio he WILL win. If Kerry takes ohio he has a good chance at winning.

I think ohio will be the new Florida.

Bush really does not need Ohio. Michigan is such a close race that if Bush wins MI (17), NM (5) and AK (3) that's 273 without winning Ohio (20).

Looks like Bush has several options and Kerry is running out of options if he loses Ohio (20) and Michigan (17).

It's such a numbers game.

The worst case scenerio is that Kerry sweeps the rest of the states would be a 269-269 tie which then would go to the House of Representatives to pick the President and they would pick Bush and now since the Republicans have control of the Senate they would pick Cheney as Vice President. BIG night for Republicans.

no way Bush wins MI...think of the urban areas with more dense voting ... the urban areas get count latest.

as far as Ohio goes I did a bit of calculating and after all of them come in it looks like Bush by about 10,000 - 30,000 votes there prior to provisional and absentee ballots.

though Ohio is a bit sketchy:

no. but I think the legal B/S determining the elections and people losing tens of thousands of ballots in the mail makes people lose confidence in the system and makes it less functional.

note how much crap Ed Gillespie and co will give the democrats for wanting a total count of Ohio...and also note how the GOP tried to deny many voters the right to vote in that same state.

Yeah I agree, but TBH, to me these are just minor reasons for the apathy of many toward anything political, not just voting. But those legal and mail issues etc... are rather sad.

Sometimes I think that I just do not understand our political system, because it has never ever made any genuine sense to me, where as it seems to to a lot of people. I just am totally stumped, always have been, and still am to this day. I realize that it's supposedly the best way and all we've got, but this fact also has me stumped. Out of how many billions of people are we getting these 2 or 3 to choose from, and how the hell did they get there, again?

Doesn't make sense to me. I think I'm just politically stupid, to tell you the truth.

That politician guy from Ohio, the black guy ... I don't know his name but, he just said on TV that our most precious right is the right to vote.

I have never been convinced of this, ever. I truly hope that I see the day when I can actually believe this.

I will not march myself into some both to vote for what I pathetically believe is the lesser of 2 evils. I just won't do it! If I had to, then I would, but I'm just glad that I do not have to.

in all fairness our political system is complete horse ****. its not just you. and people want you think it is the greatest thing since sliced bread, but for the most part you are just choosing what corporations run the company through what puppets.

until many hundreds of thousands (or millions) of people die in an unneeded war you probably will not see enough of a backlash to reform the broken pieces of our political system.

That was the Secretary of State Kenneth Blackwell. And he's also the guy that was trying to prevent people from being able to vote because their voter registration wasn't printed on the proper paper weight.

A shining beacon protecting people's precious right to vote.
