This is a black day for the world. Another 4 years for the criminals against humanity. Four more years to continue their war on the people of the world and human rights. It's a damn shame and a disgrace.

I can't believe Bush may actually win. Was America asleep for the last 4 years?! Check out the price of gas, power or pretty much anything else lately? Its too depressing.

Ferre, I think that this may be just the type of attitude that Michael Moore portrayed which was responsible for turning many democrats against voting for John Kerry, oddly enough. It's an over zealous negative attitude that hurts rather than helps your cause, IMO.

All I can say is that the leaders of a country are supposed to represent the people, what I see now is that the people seem to approve to be lied to, taken away their rights and will be up for more stuff like their kids getting drugged by the state.
..well, they deserve what they choose for.

I would but all you guys would think is that I'm into conspiracy stuff and such, I quit teling you guys what your nice government has planned for you, afterall, the patriot act isn't bothering you also so why would I bother?
It's all on the net if you really want to know and I'm not joking or telling you lies. As far as I know the only one who's telling you lies all the time are the ones that 'represent' you.
here's a tip of the iceberg...
http://www.americandaily.com/article/1753
Don't think you know what's going on by reading that article, it's only the tip, go dig deeper.

Ok now I know what you're referring to... thanx for the link.
Yeah Ritalin is some powerful sh!t, I've done it several times, that'll wind a normal person right up like an 8 day clock. Strange that it has the opposite effect on a hyperactive person.

sorry atom... I'm with Ferre here, Bush has had his chance, people all over the world have suffered, why not give someone else a try??
One thing that i hate about the whole voting system is that people place their votes based upon what the candidates claim they are going to do....
then half the time they do not actually keep their promises.
You might as well give the new guy a chance, he couldnt possibly make things any worse in my opinion. Moore's film may have been propaganda, but that doesnt change the fact that people are suffering as a result of Bush's decisions.

I'm not sure you understood my post. It seems Moore's propaganda has actually had an opposite effect at the poles, and actually helped to re-elect Bush.
I'm not surprised. Moore's strategies are very poor ones. His degree of fanaticism has actually worked against his cause.

please explain... i dont understand :-s
how could Moores film have a positive effect on Bush's re-election?
Although i (and im sure other viewers) are aware that the facts may have been twisted or exaggerated for a cause, it doesnt change the fact that the film made me feel physically sick with disbelief! There is no way that someone could come away from watching that and see Bush in a positive light. I do not believe it.

It seems that the high voter turnout in this election, which is usually a sign of a move to remove the incumbent, was actually many young people affected by the film that may have been traditionally democrat or on-the-fencers, that voted to solidify the incumbent. An ironic outcome, but like I say, to me no surprise. Moore's strategy was an insane strategy that I did not expect to work. In fact I believe that the sheer insanity of his movie actually worked against his cause, as I stated above.
In short, I believe he pissed more people off than he "enlightened", with his particular brand and degree of propaganda.

It still seems odd, that people could watch a film which - for all intents and purposes - is about war, death, and suffering at the hand of Bush... and then see this as a positive reason to re-elect Bush.
Bush may win the vote, but i dont think this is good reason to throw Moores film back into his face and say "i told you so." Which ever way you look at it - the film will of had a negative impact.
If people have come out of the woodwork to vote FOR bush as a result of the film, i sure hope they had some positive reasons for doing it - not just as a backlash to Moores opinion!

The facts are that he is the most failed president in our lifetimes, yet he appears to have won the vote.
I'm amazed. I want to say I feel sorry for Americans, but I can't.
To think that if he gets a second term, he'll be able to do whatever the hell he wants without having to worry about running for another term. He's free to try and pull out anything he wants and he's got a majority senate and house behind him... if he was THIS bad the first time around, these next four years should be cause for great concern.
Who knew that being pro-life was more important than actually having the number of abortions go down.
Who knew it was better to feel secure than be secure.
Who knew abortion and gay marriage were more important than equality, sound foreign policy, or just about any other issue for that matter.

FOX was about the last on board to project Florida for Bush. I know you guys love to give FOX a hard time since they don't follow the same "liberal playhouse" theme you got used to with other networks for so long, but the numbers are (pretty much) in, and the numbers don't lie.....though I'm sure bitter liberals will claim they did.

My wife is a teacher and it's really the liberal teachers association that advocates Ritalin to keep kids in line in the classroom. I'm very confident that the government isn't going there....
