Well, the fact is that this time around Bush was actually elected , and by popular vote too. So we should respect that part of the whole proces. This was the will of the American people so they will reap the benefits, although the world may have to get a good share of Bush's mistakes to come.
Funny thing, Immigration Canda noted a substantial surge of applications by US citizens There are about 1 million Americans living in Canada right now.

Thanks but I can't take all the credit. I've read many articles and news reports and created my own version of what many are saying out there to support the facts and opinions.

I'm sure Spain is ok. My brother lived there for a year and hated it. I don't remmber all the reasons. I think they way they do business is much more cut throat than he was used to in the US...or was it the food?

That was a great post imaginemn. I agreed with everything in it, which for a post of that length in this forum is rare. Best post about politics so far I think.

I like McDonalds restaurants. I like those egg McMuffins and the sausage biscuit w/egg. The apple pies are very good, too.

Yeah I like them too. Wendys is ok.
I just alternate between the major ones mostly, or used to, anyway.
I liked Jimmy Carter. I do remember liking him. Not really sure why.
I don't surf news articles. I get most news randomly and by chance.
I don't read the news paper, never have. Not sure why.
That little Michael Moore comment I made, that was my opinion, soley. I didn't read it or anything like it, anywhere. I watched the stupid movie and then after the election figured ... hmm, I'll bet that Moore film pissed a lot of Americans off..
I honestly believe that there's a good chance that Kerry would be Pres right now if Moore's film never existed.
Funny, that.

While we may have our own political opinions tucked away in the far corners of our brain, we all agree that cancer is a horrible thing to happen to anyone.
Some may think this is incredibly off-topic, but it serves a purpose to show that everyone is human.
If anyone is religous or 'of that nature' ... I'm sure Mrs. Edwards would appreciate any prayers given.

I've said a prayer for them. That really sucks.
I hope I go quick.

Yes. Thank God. Bush officially owns this mess. No more (falsely) inheriting recssions, no blaming the previous administration for 9/11, no more excuses. Let's see what chimpy can do when left completely to his own devices and may God also deliver the hateful bigoted southerners from their own twisted warped views the Word and respect each and every single human beings INALIENABLE right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

Not sure, but the ones at Burger King are great. The frozen ones that you can get at the grocery store are pretty good also. Just pop them in the microwave and you are all set!

1.) so long as you like a good meal, the food Europe generally is cheaper & better (significantly). any American that does not go over to spend a good bit of time in Europe is missing out on what a good meal is. some places (Italy and Greece particularly come to mind) serve dinner as a few hour event...some places are open to the atmosphere and have a band playing live beautiful music at the table next to you for hours at a time.
2.) cut throat business...doubt it is worse there really (with siesta and all)...plus if I work on the web that does not much matter.
3.) over in Europe (well at least the places near the Med where I visited) things are genrally more lax...people slow down to take the time and enjoy things. they may not generally be quite as wealthy as the wealthiest few in America are (and our current ingornant economical policies are killing off the middle class anyway), but money does not equate to happiness.

We're stopping people from living with liberty and pursuing happiness?
