I totally agree dude.

We should so be helping out those people but our governments are turning a blind eye to it.

What really gets me is that there are UK farmers in Africa that the African government has just seized their land and forced them back over to the UK and what do we do about it - Nothing.

Iraq was never about human rights, it's about money and oil, this is totally proven in the way nobody does anything to help out Africa as there is no benefit to us in doing that.

What the terrorists have a beef with is US foreign policies (support for Israel, support for arab dictators). They do not want to attack just any nation, only the nations that they think have imperialist policies against the arab and muslim world.

And I can believe some of the idiotic supporters of Bush who thinks that Bush has making the world a safer place by invading Iraq, the heart of Arabism. If anything, Bush has made an already bad situation far worse than ever.
The World nowadays is a much more dangerous place because of Bush's short sighteness, lack of intellect, ideologic-driven israeli-centric policies (how in the world did he think he could invade the heart of the Arab World, cause the death of many arabs and think this would solve the terrorism problem).

People are REALLY dumb nowadays. They can't think. They believe whatever the govt is saying (who btw who lied to go to war). The govt play on their fears.

These people are not just blowing things up for no reason or because "they hate our freedoms". That's a retarded argument. They have a planned out agenda.

Like you, I do NOT approve of terrorists actions. But, I do believe that they have some legitimate beefs. I just wish the US would take the beefs seriously and talk about them. Trying to make the terrorists out to be maniacal madmen with no purpose who will bomb anyone anywhere for no reason is telling a half truth. It will only encourage more people to join them. Again, I'm not saying that terrorist actions are right, but they DO have a purpose. They aren't just attacking without rhyme or reason. They believe that they are fighting a war, with a legitimate end goal. In any war, eventually, both sides must talk.

I'm not saying that I condone the terrorism, Ohio. I don't. I think that terrorists that take innocent lives are low.

But, I do see a cause and effect relationship between US foreign policy and world anger.

I also don't believe that these terrorists hate the freedom of the west and will do anything to see that we don't have it. I just don't buy that arguement. It makes the terrorists look like brainless fools and they aren't.

Again, I don't agree with what they've done. But, if you think that the US will be successful in solving the "terrorist problem" using logic like that, then you're in for a big surprise and a whole lot of hurt. These people believe strongly in what they are doing and are willing to die for the cause. If we allow western leaders to just write them off as a bunch of nutcases who will attack anything without reason, their numbers will grow. The media has, apparently, bought into that explanation of their actions. I don't. And, I think it's dangerous to think like that if we ever hope to stop it.

They have killed civilians and will probably do so again. They believe that they are fighting a just war. So does the west. Until these two sides can somehow work some stuff out, we are all headed into hell.
