Honastly your government's foreign policy got your country in to this mess, and now you want other countries to grow some balls and help you out. I agree, I am quite pissed off we've lost innocent Canadians in this mess we're not even involved in. Our people don't belong there and should not be there and DEFINITELY should not be losing their lives there.

Write your politicans then. I will disagree however. If anyone should be helping us it should be Canada. That is just me though. Set at home and let us to the dirty work if you don't want your soldiers dying. Just don't complain when the US is the only one doing anything to restrain hostile countries and terrorist organizations.

That seems to be the best approach.

We have seen in the past that if you attempt to sacrifice freedom to gain security, you really don't get either. Too many people think that if you have freedom, then you have it forever. You don't. You have to fight to keep it. Our policy is to enforce UN resolutions since the UN won't. I am waiting on that kick in the ass. Right now all we have is people like you giving us your sob stories about how upset you are with us backing up UN resolutions.




What are we accomplishing? Plenty. We have successfully removed Sadaam Huessen from power after he has defied the UN for 11 years. We have put all the pressure on Iran to stop their nuclear weapons program. Had it not been for the US Iran would recieve pressure from whom? We have successfully captured many top leaders in Al Quida.

Not to go without saying that Bush has screwed up in some of these issues but that does not go without saying that I approve of the stances my government has taken on fighting global terrorism and putting pressure on hostile nations when no one else would.

Here's some required reading before you go on further:

We wouldn't be anywhere in this world without our heroes to protect us and suck from.

I've got news for you. We'd do just fine without you. Many, many nations seem to survive just fine without your "protection". At present, you're a bigger danger to our security than an asset. Some Americans act so proud to be American in front of other Americans, but as soon as they are out of the presence of other Americans they pretend to be leeching, sucking off the USA economy, scum of the earth Canadians. Why would they ever do that?

You DO realize that the US violated the will of the UN to invade Iraq? Right?
You can't violate the will of the UN (and, indeed, the will of the nations of Earth) one day and then stand up as the defender of the UN the next day.

That last sentence was incomplete. It should have read...
