My link was in response to Nick's theory that Bush's mistakes are no big deal. My link shows Nick is wrong.
His link to Hiroshima stuff doesn't seem to apply here at all.

Littlefella, you would first have to establish that the liberation of Iraq was a mistake.

Liberation?
Iraq was a free country. Ruled by a nut, like many other countries the US is friendly with, but it was independent. Now it is ruled by a foreign power.

Your statement that Iraq was a free country is so absurd as to not warrant a serious response.

Your statemtn about "liberation" of Iraq had no merit. If Bush (and you, it seems) are/were so concerned about librating countries, how come there is such a glaring absence of US troops in a few African regions? No oil for for the military vehicles there?
Let's set things straight.
On 9/11 the US was attacked by 17 Saudi Arabs and 2 Egyptians, so logically Bush attacks Iraq, while a few planes loaded with Saudi Arab citizens were the only planes allowed in the US air space within a day or two .
Btw. Saudi Arabia is an absolute monarchy, where people are tortured, women have practically no rights, but you think Iraq was in need of being liberated?
Iraq was attacked because of the alleged WMDs and because of the alleged terrorist ties, and that is an undeniable fact. The "liberation" thing was a contingency excuse.

a satirical cartoonist (I forget who), won an award for his drawings. In his acceptance speech he said something along the lines of "I can only say I love George W Bush. I have to thank him for looking so much like a monkey"

So ultimately, you really do believe Iraq was free. That is very interesting way to look at things.
By that, you wouldn't characterize killing 5,000 men, women, and children by gas an act of torture?

Please tell me that this is not the best you can do.
Your argument is like responding to somebody who says he likes cheeseburgers with "No you don't, you didn't eat every single cheeseburger in the world".
Let's try to lift the level of debate beyond the 3rd grader level.
