Ferre, Americans have the ability to vote and change their own laws, so yes, America is free.
It's a police state by voter choice.

Is that a limit of how far back in history you can go?
Facts are plain and simple. He did not have to make the promise to Kurds but he did. As a result thousands were killed, and that was predictable.

Here's Donald Rumsfelt in 1983 shaking hands with Saddam. This is when the American government, under leadership of Reagan and daddy Bush, was supplying Saddam with all kinds of chemical agents and WMDs via shady transactions via other countries like Liberia. This is all documented btw.

Yeah, my memory only seems to limit me to a couple of weeks.
Predictable that they would be killed by Saddam - and that is freedom.
I think the whole Bush family is a liberals scapegoat to world problems. Can't wait to see who's next, Yippee!
And to think, Mr. Kerry would be the talk of the town right now if people supported his crazy views.

Nick, I'm sorry, but you're loosing me. I have no problem with a friendly debate, but first you need to learn how to debate. Knowing some facts would be certainly helpful too.

Not exactly...

"Of course the people don't want war. But after all, it's the leaders of the country who determine the policy, and it's always a simple matter to drag the people along whether it's a democracy, a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism, and exposing the country to greater danger."

Knowing how to read would also help debates.
Care to check my posts, I believe I posted some facts you happened to overlook.
