We're on the blame game -
I like that guy because he isn't afraid of being crushed by those in power. I think they both should take the credit.

Let us not forget resolution 1441: "a final opportunity to comply with disarmament obligations"
Disarm your weapons of mass destruction. And when you don't, we'll invade and fine none and change our justification for invading your country to finding "weapons of mass destruction related program activities."
Yes, that's obviously the same level of dishonesty as Clinton claiming that a blowjob doesn't count as sexual relations.
Come on now, let's keep things in perspective.

Who has a better looking wife?
1 Point to Bush. -1 Point to Clinton
Who has (a) better looking daughter(s)?
2 Points to Bush. -1 Point to Clinton
Should I continue?

Are you joking here? Or weren't you around when Clinton was in office? He had one of the most screwed terms in office. It was one scandal after another.

Yes, I'm half joking actually. The blowjob thing wasn't the only thing wrong with Clinton's time in office obviously, but that was a point about about the low severity of the dishonesty when compared to what's happened here with Bush's administration.
Sexual scandals and finance scandals... yeah that's pretty bad stuff. But nobody's dying as a result.
All I'm saying is that making the statement that Clinton and honesty shouldn't be used in the same sentence is pretty strange to hear given the actions of the current administration. The last 6 years haven't exactly been full of honesty and straightforwardness.

I don't think the current administration is on the same level of dishonesty. Clinton dwelt in dishonesty. He brought dishonesty to a whole new level. He pretty much defined dishonesty.
Bush has a crap attitude, and no respect for individual liberty, but I don't see him even coming close to Clinton in the dishonesty department.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that the effects of this administration's dishonesty are by far worse than the outcome of any scandals that went on during the clinton years.
I don't know how else to explain it, and I don't know how anybody could deny it.
If Clinton lied a thousand times about money, pardons, and sex scandals, it still doesn't make him the same kind of liar as a man who leads his people to war under pretense of a nonexistant threat.
You're right, it's not the same level of dishonesty at all.

Weapons of mass destruction? I don't think most Americans or Iraqis cared about that. They cared that he was a murdering, raping tyrant.
And if WMD possession is an excuse to invade, then I'm all for invading France. They need a good ass kicking.
