This is how intelligent discussion works. Simply calling somebody's position "rediculous" doesn't work. State an opinion, and back it up with facts or logic, or don't post at all.

He said that we shouldn't have gone into Iraq because Osama Bin Ladin had no connection to Saddam. My response to that makes perfect sense.

Your next post in this thread better be a reasoned justification of your statements in this thread, with sources cited.

If you state an opinion, surely you have a logical basis for that opinion. Post the basis. Surely, as a human being, you have been taught how to intelligently communicate, no?

You shouldn't generalize groups of people, out of the 240 plus million people here in this country how many have you spoken to face to face.

I've listened to people from all over the world, different levels of living standards, different levels of education etc and have found each person a unique individual with differing opinions on a variety of topics, and guess what, they ALL consider themselves Americans, the were either born here or moved here from another country.

Does that mean they are all of the mindset that many here on this topic seem to think ? I don't think so. You shouldn't lump the entire United States population into a group that agrees with our governments foreign policy or any other policies. I find that very insulting !
